These images started as a testing series to get out of my lack of creativity. During COVID lockdown, I truly didn't create much. The pressure of having to stay inside was gloomsum and I couldn't get out of the funk. I asked myself Why do I even Create? I decided to got back to the basics; just create lines, and shapes, with colors. out of came the same application with portraiture.

It’s important we realize that art is accessible to everyone. Art is that moment of balanced meditation. All that matters in that moment is you are creating. Coming from a background of addiction, abandonment, and neglect I have chosen the career of art therapy. The creative outlet and release i created for myself is something I wish to share with others.
Art and therapy individually have turned me into the functional human being I am today. Therapy has been the one outlet in my life that has helped me see the mistakes I have unconsciously made due to my upbringing, and how to respond better in situations. Art has helped create the actual feeling of release in order to let go of the past. Combining these two forms lead me into world where I had self-worth and that my voice mattered even when I couldn’t find the words. My dream is to spread this knowledge and practice with others in hope to help people feel better.
Although my training is in painting, I enjoy using sculptor, poetry, printmaking, photography and dance in order to create what needs to be. More often than not, a combination of materials are used to layer and create depth within the composition. The subject matter is predominantly associated with abstract, contemporary, or highly conceptual expressive pieces.
